Charlotte's premier open water swim series is back!
Carolina's Open Water Challenge will be held at the Latta Plantation, Saturday, May 30, 2009. Wetsuits by 2XU will available for testing, come and check them out!
The Open Water Challenge LLC, is still trying to secure more dates for 2009 and into the future. This process is moving much slower than anticipated but the talks are on going. We hope to have a long term contract with the Parks Department soon and are hopefull that we will be able to offer 3 openwater swims in 2010. We have reset the May date for 09, as well as adding a another swim 10/17/09. The 2010 date will be a U.S. Masters Swimming Championship for the 1mile.

Online registration for 2009 is CLOSED. You can still register on site on the morning of the swim.
